Can never grow tired of his work.

This song breaks my heart in such a wonderful way.

Joemanses, I think that Susumu Hirasawa has a lot of similar qualities to Laurie Anderson. Both Avant-Garde, both have a unique sound. Her music doesn't sound like Hirasawa's, but I have a feeling if you like him, you'll like her.

I've given up on claiming an opinion for which of his songs I find to be the most beautiful. Because for so long, every time I heard a song by him, I'd say what you said; as if every song he made was my favorite.
If every song he makes is my favorite, either he out-does himself every single time... or he has simply reached perfection and all of his songs are perfect... and therefore a favorite.

@joemanses He made so much music over the years, I don't really think you need to many artists to listen to stuff in this style.
-
That'd be so complicated, since Hirasawa is so unique on his work... but you can check his earlier work on P-MODEL, his former band in which he was the leader, though is not the same style as his solo music.

can anyone recommend another artist similar to susumu? I just can't get enough of his work, but I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who might create music of similar quality
This is one of his most beautiful songs, Mr. Hirasawa is a genious...
