@GARYWERSLEY Careful. Mythology is very powerful over the hearts of many. It tells the story of human experience with the divine, even though lesser gods. Continue to have trust in the Most High and all shall go well in your life!
"Let not your heart be disturbed..." Do not be afraid. The true God's Love is Immense for you!

@48gnosis When we speak of God it should b realised that we do not mean the Jealous God of the ancient Isrealites. That God never xisted. The belief in that God has brought more disharmony than harmony to mankind thru history and still does so today. If we want peace on earth man must realise that that Jealous God is a false God,just like all the other ancient Gods, and all religeous books based on that God belong on the shelf marked, 'Mythology'.Then at least there will be no more religeous wars.
-
@GARYWERSLEY Then let us, as individuals, make certain that we do not become that which we fight in others...We must manifest that which we may see missing in others: love and forgiveness, living examples of the God of Love and Wisdom.
Tyranny cannot live within a soul who has found interior Peace.
" Though all matter shake, yet I shall not move, for the light is with me, and I myself am with the light forever."
May you find Peace, Mr. Wersley.

@48gnosis We can safely say that the Jealous God of Moses is not the source of all love and forgiveness. The God of the ancient Isrealites is a God of Intolerence, who Demands worship or death! All the faiths that have come from belief in this God have practiced what this God of intolerence and Imposition Commanded at Exodus 34:10-17,with disasterous results for the human race. There has never been unity of belief at anytime in history, only Division. There is no Wisdom in Fanaticism, only Tyranny.

@GARYWERSLEY It is good and wise to not identify with institutions filled with ignorance and hate. I agree. But one must remember: The Source of all Love and Forgiveness is not divided. It is mankind who is divided. Few know their true Source.
And the ones who do, are peaceful and filled with Wisdom.

@EpicMystixx The Jealous God of Moses is not the Creator of the universe.Belief in the Jealous God,whose name is Jealous, seems to produce religeous fanaticism. This produces disharmony. There can never be peace among mankind when some believe in the God whose name is Jealous and some do not.
Belief in the God of Moses is Delusion. All the faiths that come from that belief are variations of a Delusion.

@48gnosis I do not identify myself to any religeon that has at its core intolerence of other beliefs. We can see by looking back at history the results of such doctrines that produce religeous intolerence, thereby producing disharmony.Man has been killing man in the name of the Jealous God of Moses almost since the time that Moses stepped down off the mountain. The killing goes on even today, with mad Islamists trying to impose their version/interpretation of Exodus34:10-17.Religeon is the Problem.
-
@SRMDrumming That is what has always gone on.It is nothing new. Each different branch of the believers in the God whose name is Jealous have always hated each other.Been at war with each other. Each claiming that the way to Eternal Salvation is thru their faith and all others are Delusion. Each faith persecuting others in their efforts ot obey Gods Commandment at Exodus 34:10-17. "Destroy other all religeons".
Religeon is obviously the problem, not the solution.

@GARYWERSLEY If you identify with your body, you will perish with it.

@GARYWERSLEY The historical existence of Jesus is unnecessary. He represents the Perfect Man/God each human being can become through apotheosis. The Highest God is unknown to those who worship Jesus as the only/highest God. Islam and every other religion shall be reconciled through Perfect Love and Divine Wisdom. Each man and woman must experience and "inner resurrection" of spirit in order to be whole (holy). We are what we identify with.

I believe religion IS like a virus in that it infects susceptible minds and those rendered susceptible previously due to exposure to superstition. It is also generally transferred via the parents to the children.
@luitzenheitkamp
His sentences are perfectly understandable. Why are you having such trouble?

I'm a Christian, but am open to hear other points of view. My friend showed me this, and I will agree that many world leaders use religion as a weapon. But at the same time, if religion were to disappear there would still be greed and war.
