I have just sorted out our computer so that at last we have been able to watch "Pett Level" all through on full screen - phew!! Somewhere I have a picture of me with my friend at Pett Level but we were only 14 and no stripey swimsuits.

@theancientbrit well, that is a shame!! i was excited, imagining you & Grandad dancing so merrily on the beach in your stripey swim costume! can you pretend its you? i know its waaaay to old film to actually be you (its estimated between 1920-1929) just humour me?! xx and of course you needed a song dedicated to you. Just in case you can't make out the middle section: "Oh, on a shingle beach we're playing, all on a summers day. We're running through an arch of ivy, hiding our days away!"x
