Using dry suits as water is just above freezing. The water is crystal clear as it is glacial water filtered through volcanic rock. The continental plates are North America and Eurasia.

Filmed with Kodak Playsport at 720p 60fps
Song: Glosoli by Sigor Ros (Icelandic)

  • Nice vid, so where are the schools of sardines that are supposedly in those cold waters? ;-)

  • @sporty04 They are in the sea, this is glacial water and the only life is algae.

  • @heffsta2006 what time of year did you travel to iceland? my wife and i have the same camera and were wondering how it would hold up in the cold waters.

  • @umakemesick2 Hi, sorry for late reply. We went in May. The water temperature supposedly stays at about 1 to 2 degrees Celsius all year. The camera worked perfectly.
