  • Sorry to bust your chops here but you are openly complaining about Autodesk while looking to rip them off by obtaining warez software. It's the obtaining of illegal and cracked software that prompts develpers large and unfortunately small to quit developing great software. Shame on you. You may hate Autodesk but there are 1000's of small independent developers who come up with fantastic and inexpensive plugins. Then, you guys destroy the incetive and then none of us have access to it.

  • can anyone tell me where the fuck you can buy this software? im searching the web for like 2 hours and there is nowhere you can buy it, just some warez links, what the fuck autodesk? did you just kill another software?

  • can anyone tell me some good tutorials, books or whatever to how to rig cartoonish hair in motionbuilder?

  • @Ealija yes pls i want to know where can i get .fbx for motionbuilder

  • Where can I get .fbx files for motionbuilder?

  • Is it worth it to buy motionbuilder or just buy max, can I animate the same with character studio inside max?

  • @HappyRogueStatus Thanks anyway, but I gave up after that 8 hour stint, I was hoping to map a model for motion capture directly into motionbuilder (via Kinect) but the best I could do was to save the motion capture in 3rd party software and import it into motionbuilder, have to do for now.

  • @paypaldie hover your mouse in the character window, then press ctrl + A to cycle through viewing modes.. I've literally spent less than 1 hour in MotionBuilder and watching tutorials and I know this.. Put some more effort into looking for other resources

  • After 8 hurs of trying to learn how to map the bones to the model I have given up, Autodesk are going to struggle to attract people to the field when there tutorials suck. Google Sketchup is easy to learn, this is just a hair pulling nightmare, I cant believe one of the main functions is near impossible. I have given up and going to try Iclone 5, I really want to learn how to do this, but there are no decent tutorials around. Why doesnt Autodesk offer good help for this product.

  • How the heck do I see the bones on the model in the viewer. This tutorial would be helpful if I knew how to see the bones in my model like the one in the video. But I dont, I only see wireframe. It is new installation, all the tutorials I have watched so far are pretty useless, because they dont explain why the user might see something that the educator isnt, like why am I not seeing the bones in the model, I cant go any further until I can see the bones in the model in the viewer Please Help
