  • Thank you very much for this video!

In my opinion Lambiel is still the best figure skating because it's not just jumping, getting many points and so on. His skating is real art. Nobody else can do this!

  • I am writing all of this also because I recently saw Jeremy Abbott's short program - it's also a tango choreographed by Antonio Najarro, just like this program. And, in my opinion, Jeremy Abbott did much better - despite how sad it makes me to admit that. Of course, he can't quite touch Stephane in shows. But, as I already wrote, it's only natural. Probably Abbott would do that program even better in shows as well.

  • And it's not about whether the jumps work out or not, whether he falls or not. Simply, at exhibitions he doesn't have to think about it so much, so there he can be free in his skating.

Probably that's also the reason why many figure skating fans who have rarely seen Stephane's skating at exhibitions, don't quite understand what's so special about him. Because, unfortunately, most of the time he really hasn't given his best at competitions in terms of expression, energy and emotions.

  • I still like the exhibition version of this program better (but it's only natural, I think). In that version this is one of my favourite Stephane's programs, but in this version - far from it (:. To tell the truth, despite Stephane's great artistry, because of his struggle with jumps and all, at competition he has rarely managed to show the same energy and expressiveness taht he has in exhibitions. The great choreography stays, bet everything else - mostly not.

  • Thank you for posting this video! Stephane is simply the best! In this performance, however, his "costume" and hair are not the usual Stephane. But he is the BEST! I could watch him perform all day!

  • He is so beautiful...just can't take my look away!

    What's the music?

  • This fellow is great...he needs to improve his landings, He is great.

  • Vancouver 2010...Go Switzerland! ;)

  • I know he is the world's best spinner but it bears repeating. I love how he times his spin speed and position so perfectly to the music. Bravo Steph and good luck in Vancouver! J'taime pour toujours!

  • I sooooooooooooo agree with you...their feel for the music is amazing....Johnny is the better jumper...Stephan the better spinner and footwork....both are off the chain!!!!
