    7D uses dual core Digic4's. Pretty much just improves burst shooting speeds and how fast the camera keeps up with it. And maybe some other minor things. Not much else. 7D doesn't do that much better for quality/noise/etc than anything else in it's league.

    same sensor =/= processor. It's all about how much data you can process. The 7D uses a different processor.
