i too wish hed stayed and put up with ashley but for some people its impossible and keegan is a legend to nufc and would you really want him to go through all of that?
i wouldnt. he will always be my hero till the day he dies!!!

The problem is, he wouldve had to lie to the fans every week if he had stayed. They basically turned things around on him & said "actually, you dont have the say on who comes in anymore"... so he could have stayed and said "well, this has happened (youtube, gonzalez, south american agents etc) and I've been lied to by Mike, so Im not happy, but Im going to battle on" but imagine the negative vibes that wouldve sent out to the team? He wouldnt have been able to do his job properly unfortunately.

He was a superb player and manager, but i just wish that he would have just stuck with us, and maybe try and put up with ashley instead of simply leaving.
I mean jose mourinho was not happy with roman, but he still stuck with chelsea, simply because he began to love the club.
