You vacuum off the horse to dry them when it's cold or in the summer time, and it also removes dirt, and it's really good for the coat. Allot of you would be surprised to know how many people really use them. ^^

idk whyy ppl are freaking out about this.. it does take time to get an animal use to certain things, just like it is taking time for my puppy to get use to being bathed. he freaks out and tries to jump out, but u just have to keep doing it and hold him still.
Nice video btw!

people, stop talking shit about her. Her horse was a little unsure of it...it was NOT 'freaking out'. You can't just talk the vacuum completely away from it or it will learn that acting up will get it what it wants. It was completely fine after a couple of strokes with the vacuum.
calm down. This video was really informative actuallly!

seriously, if you are actually going to try this desensitize oyur horse first. This looks more like a painful experience than a good one. And its also dangerous, what if the horse freaked out because she didn't take the time to get him used to it?
im loving the unclipped halter. Extra points for that one!

There's nothing wrong with vacuums. I've yet to meet a horse who hasn't quickly learned to calmly tolerate it. Most in my care have actually learned to really enjoy it, especially along the midline. :) It's great for getting out the worst of the dust and/or caked-on mud quickly and without getting it all on the groom instead. You can (and should!) then follow up with the regular grooming procedure for coat health, circulation, toning and checking for lumps and bumps.
