Messing around with my peavey classic 50, vox satchurator, vox time machine and digitech whammy...pretty much perfected the tone I'm going for.

  • is that amp heavy? and does it get loud enough on its own to be heard over drums

  • @mikesheldon15859 heavy as in weight? Yeah its a full tube 2x12 combo, about 75lbs. Its 50w tube so yes ot gets very loud, gig'd it quite a few times with a loud metal drummer and never needed it past 5. Its only like 3db less then 100w.

  • F***ing brill Dave, nice one. my little lad has been practising! will have to send you a vid of him singing! lol xx

  • @tuttibag Haha, thanks Nat, I'd love to see that video! lol

  • I'm sorry, but I had to watch this vid twice. Very Awesome ! Plus I wanted to give you 2 thumbs up, instead of just one. Now you got me thinking about investing in some equipments for my guitar (I'm still practicing, now that I have the time). Again, thank you for this vid.

    Cool vid !

  • @NightViewer00 Thanks v much, good to know people like listening to my warbalings :-)

  • @mikesheldon15859 Is the speaker hooked up under the amp? Nice work. I am getting the older version of the classic tomorrow.

  • dude finally someone who does metal on this amp, there's like 4 videos on youtube of this and it's all fricken clean tones

  • @Avtomattchik cuz blues is better!

  • Everything sounds nice.. You play excellent!!!

Why do your strings buzz so much?

  • nice man :) that reprobox under peavey is connected with amp ?? :)

  • finaly someone play good metal on classic 50. why evrнone so love to play blus?

  • Why do you use an overdrive pedal? The overdrive channel on the amp is really nice by itself.

  • Great job on this video . . . The Classic 50 is one of the best amps I've owned, Peavey All The Way!!!

  • good stuff but would've been better if your camera was a little far from your guitar or closer to the amp, the rattle of the strings coming directly was a major annoyance. peaveys rule, i have the bandit 112 and its awesome! good work mate.

  • beautifull tone and nice playing m8, you confinced me to buy a peavey classic too (A)

  • What's up Davet247,

    Magnificent !

Made me feel like I at a concert. Once again you have confirmed one of the many reasons why guitars are my favorite instrument, because of the sounds (noise) that can be made out of them. This was actually therapeutic and relaxing to me, I enjoyed this greatly !

    Cool vid !
