The Girl Next Door: Chapter 8 Part 1

The first day of school is here and the guys are rushing to get ready.

Nick: Does my hair look ok?
Kevin: It looks fine.
Joe: Does my tie look straight?
Kevin: Your tie is fine.
Nick: Maybe we should just skip school.
Joe: Yeah. We could write a new song.
Kevin: Guys. Your going to school. Besides I have collage today.
Nick: Since when?
Kevin: Since Nikki said I could still enroll for classes.
Joe: Dude! That's awesome! What are you gunna study?
Kevin: Music.
Nick: Kevin. Your a rock star. Isn't that cheating.
Kevin: Ohh who's gunna know.
(they laugh nervously.)

*knock knock*

Joe: That'll be the girls. See you later Kevin.
Nick: Bye!
Kevin: Good luck. And stay out of trouble.

The boys and girls walk to school. It is a catholic school. The girls have to wear blazers, skirts, long socks, blouses and hats. The boys must wear blazers, ties, shirts and trousers.

Joe: Urghh! I hate these uniforms.
Charlotte: At least you?re not wearing a hat!
Joe: (laughing) Yeah. They do look pretty stupid.
(Charlotte hits Joe)
Kat: Just relax guys. Everything will be fine.
Nick: Easy for you to say, you aren?t starting a new school.
Charlotte: Just be yourself and everyone will love you.

*they finish walking to school and go collect their schedules*

Nick: Awww man! Maths first lesson.
Kat: Me too. Guess we could walk together.
(they walk away)
Charlotte: Well I?m going. See you later.
(she walks away)
Joe: Urmm? anyone know the way to the music rooms?
(everybody has left)
Joe: Guess it?s just me then.

(he walks away lost and confused)
