Don't get me wrong, I love how all their albums sound :D But the ones that I favor the most are The Dance and Enter. 

@AssesinoCereal There's a lot of people who want the sounds of the first two albums back because they miss the growls and ethereal sounds, but I think people are calling them sell outs because The Silent Force, got them really popular. So the new album not being as symphonic as they'd like kinda annoys them. Anyway sorry for the long comment hope it helps.

@AssesinoCereal Within Temptation have different styles on nearly every album. Enter had a lot of a Gothic doom feeling to it and they also used growling, which they don't do anymore. Mother Earth had a Celtic feel to it, The Silent Force had more symphonic vibes as did The Heart Of Everything but it also had some acoustic stuff and choirs. Their new album The Unforgiven is really different, but kind of hard to explain some say it's their most poppy album but also their heaviest.
