WHEN WAS THIS FIRST PROGRAMME AIRED? ABOUT EDNA O'BREEN: I SAW HER ON SKY ARTS T.V. STATION RECENTLY AND SHE PICKED HER NOSE. REPEAT: SHE PICKED HER NOSE!!!

robin day was the best chair of the panel

And political TV in the UK was never the same again. Sir Robin was great and handled it with ease.
Teddy "Tawse" Taylor and Michael Foot: it's easy to forget how polarised politics was back then, before the Thatcherite consensus. You could get everything from a hard-right Scot like Taylor to a socialist like Foot and there were even centrist Liberals if you looked hard enough.

Priceless!
-
heheh it all gets silly at 2:15
Plus the Partridge gag "on my seft, a socialist"
-
Classic! Real TV as it should be.
