Oh. My. God. I just watched him get an award in 2003. He was pretty jittery. I thought he was like Monk. My DVD interviews said Shalhoub was kinda OCD and got worse as the show progressed.
And they're right! He did the shoulder thing and he's even more jittery on this one! God i can't image what it was like in 2008... fascinating.
