In April 2011, a group of 24 ISB students travelled to Agrippa Todji, a small Togolese village in the region of Kpalimé, to complete the renovation of the village's Elementary School buildings. The trip was the climax of 8 months of preparation that included the collection of books and other educational materials for the village's school, as well as several fund raising events to contribute to the financial effort for the construction and decoration work.
The project was prepared and organized in Togo by the friendly and efficient team of Espace Social, a NGO based in Lomé. A dozen volunteers from Espace Social shared the two weeks experience in Agrippa Todji with the ISB students.
The unforgettable experience of the encounter with the wonderful inhabitants of Agrippa Todji, so rich in cultural exchanges, is summarized in this short presentation.
Note : The presentation's soundtrack was entirely recorded on site -- The music was performed by the inhabitants of Agrippa Todji (and, for a few songs, by students and volunteers ;-)
