Cool video.
Like the whole town population of Whittier, Alaska lives in one apartment building. The trains and road traffic share the same tunnel to get in and out of Whitter. I work seasonally for Princess Cruise Ship Line in Alaska.
I think they forgot to mention that the Princess Cruise Ships dock into Whittier.

that town is one of my favorite to go to when I go out fishing. Very cool lil town and the mountains.

My brother and I visited Whittier Sept.2005. There wasnt any snow then but it was cold. We saw the two condos where most of the people live and went through the tunnel. Very interesting. I would like to go back sometime in the summer. Nadine

cool cool ive been in whittier when it looked like that (brutal sometimes) and when it had the nice summer sunshine. whittier is our home port. nice video. much love form the crew of the chautauqua.

hi, i enjoy the christian community or mission, nice people, the sidewalk tunnel and the view of eagles flying around./ the tunnel that conect to Anchorage.. small town but nice place to be... greetings from Lima-Peru

Hello, we are in Whittier right now, we work in Great Pacific, now is summer and there is no snow like in winter but doesn't mater, the city is still beautiful.
