Well...it made for one heck of a song, that's for sure. Also I think alot of musicians just want to express their feelings....and maybe Roy was feeling sad or depressed when he wrote this.

yeah, I wasn't all for sure about the lyrics. Well....just on that part. I don't really care if the lyrics I put on the video are wrong, I just love the song. It's a wonderful tune by Roy Orbison and I love it.

@Adomiso Some people just won't admit that it's over....even after you have told them many times...you'd think you'd get it after being told so many times...I mean if the other person says it's over and doesn't want to be with me....they only gotta tell me ONCE...yes it's hard, but you learn to accept it, give it time.... and MOVE ON.....Love doesn't always last, people change, people have other desires, and just sometimes that other person is no longer the person you fell in love with anymore.

As a huge Springsteen fan i can see just how much Bruce was influenced by Roy Orbison in his music. He was a phenomenal talent who (unlike the hugely overrated Elvis Presley) actually wrote his own songs which reflected the overwhelming heartbreak he experienced in his life. This is a quite majestic song with so much feeling and emotion running through it.
