I hardly ever use my mobile for phoning or texting as a result £10 of credit lasts months.

I only use my phone for text and call. It is a simple phone, just for that, so I am only on it a few times a day.

I am saving up an android though. My reasons: I can go on IRC chat more often, and I can browse a few sites I go on frequently, which is a lot easier to do on an android than carrying your laptop everywhere.
