At Intel's booth, they have this pretty cool, Minority Report style touch-screen display. It's using a real-time 3D engine driving a giant transparent touch-screen. It uses laser-etched holograms, which is pretty cool. They are using the display to showcase Intel's latest processors: the Intel Core i7, Intel Centrino 2, and the Intel Atom.

  • It is very complicated to develop a see-through screen without sacrificing quality... and because of how too much environment backlight affects its performance.

Laser light cannot be used for a long period because indirect laser light exposition can also damage the eyes.
