CSX Q341-29 flying through Riverdale Park, MD with a mixed bag at likely over 50MPH. Lead by CSX SD50-2 #8575, GP38-2 #2777 and SD50-2 #8561 this train blew through like a tornado. Look at the way the trees are blowing above me.

  • I used to live near there. That's 410/East West highway bridge above, right?

  • Sure is. Beautiful down town Riverdale MD.

  • Jeeze! How can you stand so close??

  • It is a little scary sometimes. We were as far back on the platform as we could get. Sometimes you can't tell how fast they are going until they are right next to you.

  • Thanks, this train was really like a wind storm going by. It should pass your way before dark most nights right now. I caught this one at 7:45PM at the speed he was going he would be in Brunswick by 9!

  • Sadly, with the economy the way it is, CSX's train lengths have drastically shrunk.

  • Wow, fast train, kinda dangerouse. all the tank cars in the front, and some in the middle, if he crashes,.....

  • quite an average speed for our freight trains

  • @campolicejeff - Yeah, but problem is, now they're all glowin' in the dark!

  • I've seen diesel locos that are smaller & have longer freight cars then this & still go faster then this HA

  • Throw rocks at!

  • no bad

  • To see some beautifully-maintained stock and a nice clean ROW, search on "trains Japan".

  • hello sir i was wondering if i could use your sound in one of my ho vids so you do not get mad at me please send back

  • Yeah, but now with the economy growing again, it is likely they are longer again.

  • Freights usually dont go fast to protect their cargo.

  • Fast? You gotta be kidding. LOL.
