Beyond the evident signification of this song ( and this movie ) that reveal the deterioration in the relation between people who live in the Parisian suburb and the autoritity, and more generally between people and governement, you see the uneasiness of those people to fit belong the "common" (what it say) french society.

This movie reflect the issue of different culture that affects us nowadays (but 15 years after the movie). This is not a question of a foreigner culture but a "suburb" cultur
