what theluigiteam543 means is that there are too many sound channels, whereas a NES can only handle 4 plus background beats/drums.

@Boy10Cool It's 16-bit because it has too many channels (that means simultaneous voices) to be 8-bit. 8-bit can only handle 3 channels, whereas 16-bit can handle up to 8.
