@ussr5665 That is doubtful. The only thing great thing about the T34 was its sloped armor and mass production. The Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 could take the t34 miles out.

The Panther had a good gun and armor, It could do the same thing.

If you truly believe the t-34 is so great look at the casualty reports.

The fact is the only great thing about the t-34 was its easy ability to mass produce.

If you mass produced Panthers, or Tigers, history would have been diffrent.

If Germany had attacked Russia 1 month earlier, I guarantee you they would have won the war. Nature in the form of the onset of the russian winter was Germany's undoing, nothing else. Stalingrad was about to fall when the harsh winter freeze set in. Even 2 weeks earlier might have done it. It was that close.

When I see this video, I have such a strange feeling, like I have been there. I smell the burned wood in the cold and some kind of aura surrounding the whole scenery. something dark , something unknown. It's like you wont know what will happen next. Your heart is beating, and in the end you seriously believe you will win. I dont know this video is very special for me.

@PkayerZxz2 Agreed. In 1941, T-34 and KV tanks were the best on the field, but big mistakes major generals commanding lead to disastrous consequences that the Soviet Union paid a high cost in the war

@XXAndriuchaXX The lack of training was out of necessity, rather than a lack of complexity of the T-34. While it was simple to produce, it was actually harder to operate than German armor, due to poor optics, a cramped interior, and bad vision to the outside. All Russian tankers suffered badly because they were very poorly trained. German Panzers were able to defeat the superior T-34s and KV 1s in 1941 because they were well trained and experienced, the Russians were clueless as to how to fight.

@GermanWarRemembrance T34 was medium tank and of-course no match for Tiger and Panther which ones were heavy tanks (Only in German classifications Panther as medium tank) but t34 was best tank in his class. And most important thing - soviet "tankist" go in battle after 2hours training.. Btw good video

Both tanks had techincal problems and those on panther was seen more often since it entered on service right away and so there wasn't time to fix them until 1944. Hard to say which one is better since Tiger was longer on service and they are made for different purposes... Tiger was kind of long range sniper tank while panther was more like counter to T-34 (but all way superior).Tiger is feared because then it entered on battlefield there were nothing that could kill it from front
