  • I thought that this was only written for trumpet and piano. Never the less exremley well played!

  • Thanks Quincy, cool piece, huh?

Bolling scored Toot Suite for Trumpet and Jazz Trio, though it doesn't always get performed with the whole ensemble. Sometimes it can be a pain to find the players/rehearsal time to put the whole group together . In fact, we only had two rehearsals for this concert. =)

  • Nice job buddy, I havent talked to you in a while , How are things?

  • Hey, it HAS been a long time! Living in Fort Collins,CO now with my fiancé. Trying to get gigs. ;-)

  • Hello i am a district honors trumpeteer in highschool trying to tackle this piece for senior year. any tips?

  • I love this tune - AND your trptr's gorgeous tone is to die for!

Don't know who didn't give you 5 stars for this (4 1/2 total), but this was a wondrous performance!!!

    Thanks so much!

  • AHHHHH!!!

Where did you purchase the ENSEMBLE music for this. I have been looking everywhere and all I can find is trumpet and piano. If you could let me know that would be great!

  • wow thats really good!! i'm learning this right now and its really hard just to get all of the fingerings right when you're going so fast, but you were amazing. i am quite impressed!

  • Great performance, a few rhythm section problems and piano approximations but excusable considering the number of reharsals ;)

Anyway, it's an amazing piece i've always loved it. ( The mellow part ( 2:31) gives me chills, beautiful. ) The trumpet just SHINES in it and you did it justice !

  • el trompetista genial!!.. pero la percusion :S...

  • Oh it's a radio talk show on NPR in the mornings, they use use the little section between 2:08 and 2:31 as an intro to the show
