Yup, BUT, it also lets you hear the music and your character's footsteps, etc. through them as well. It's pretty badass dude. The MixAmp combo is now $199 too. Much cheaper than it used to be.

i had a tritton ax pro but they broke i loved the bass on does do you know how good the bass are on this compare to the tritton ax pro

I was wondering if you use them for a while, will they hurt your ears after about an hour to about four hours? I have had bad experiences with headphones that have been on ear and they make my ears soar and bother me to a point of making them unbearable to wear. They were Skullcandy Hesh headphones and Dre Beats on ear (I used them for one day at my cousin's house and they were terrible). I have heard all good things about Astro headsets, I just want to know about the on ear comfort.

@tkayani96 This is BRILLIANT for gaming. I haven't tried out true surround sound but the virtual surround sound is unreal - I can pinpoint people's footsteps in BF3 even though footsteps are quite soft! Bass for music is good as well, no 'whump' but plenty of 'thump' :) I got mine and they're great. I sometimes forget that they're on my head

Hi Chilla Frilla, I have a Turtle beach p11 (My 2nd one within a year :( ) and i'm hearing like poping noices while gameing which often disrtracts me, Also my cord tangles up on the headset. So i was planing on getine a new heard set for gameing, I have alot of friends on psn so i need a headset with a good mic, i dont mind haveing on ear cups i rather have them, and looking for an over all great headset,What headset would you suggest? i dont mind a TB but if i get a tb i'd like a wireless.
