amen brother - This stuff is awesome! Thank god I have a stomach made of Iron - I eat it every friday just before heading to the airport - It's not really that hot if you are really a hot food person, but damn its good

Went there yesterday. Drove in from the east coast. This chicken was the best and well worth the 6 hour drive. The medium will give you enough kick if you haven't tried this style of chicken before. The leg-quarter (dark meat) is quite delicious.
Also be sure to get a wonderful piece of cake from the cake lady (Irene) in the shop. She was there on Tuesday. Irene's Lemon Cake is wonderful along with the checker cake (I think that is what it is called.)
Best restaurant.

I went last night. First time. 45 min to get my hot chicken. Way too hot and spicy to enjoy, and I dig hot stuff. The people were nice.......but I don't think ill go back.

There is a "Hot Chicken Festival" in Nashville. Prince's chicken ran out of food and didn't even have the decency to let the people who waiting in the baking sun for 2/3 hours for food, that they had run out. The festival was suppose to be from 11-3. It was only 1 when they ran out. How about a heads up when you knew you were running low? Assholes.
