Joe's P.O.V.

I was so happy that I convinced Jillian to come back home. I had missed her so much. Too much. When we walked in the front door everyone came running to see who it was. My mom first embraced her in a hug happy to see that she was ok. Then came Jordan and Nicole and they hugged her like crazy. I loved seeing the smile on her face. I wasn't going to let myself loose her again. I had to do everything I could to keep her mine. After everyone had hugged her including my brothers I helped her bring her bags upstairs. When we got into her room she put her bags down and I closed the door behind me. "How's your stomach. I was a little worried with everyone hugging you." I said. "Um, I'm sure it's fine." she said sounding unsure. "Let me look at it. " I suggested. "No it's ok." she said but I lifted up her shirt anyway. It was all red. "Jillian, it doesn't look like it's fine." I told her as calmly as I could. She looked down and said "Some days its worse than others." "I think I should tell my mom she can at least help you." I said now I was really concerned. "Joe, I know you are worried and that means a lot it really does, but I think it's ok." "But it doesn't look ok. I wanna be able to go out with you and do stuff. I don't want to be afraid something is going to happen to you. I can't have that happen. I need you." I said,and then thought great Joe. You are really acting like a man. You had to get all personal.

Jillian's P.O.V.

"Aww, Joe!" I said and got up and wrapped my arms around his neck. He really needed me? He cared this much? "Stop." He said blushing. "You need me?" I said. "Of course I do. You mean the world to me. I hate seeing you hurt." he said and looked down. I put my fingers under his chin and pulled his face to be looking at mine. "If you love me you will believe that I'm ok. But if it will make you happy I'll show your mom. Ok?" I said and saw a smile grow on his face. "Ok, good. Then after you show her I guess I can take you on a date." he said "Oh really, is that your way of asking me out?" I asked "I guess it is." He said smiling and I still had my hands wrapped around his neck and by now his arms were wrapped around my waist. "Well, then I guess we better go show your mom now so you can take me out." I said "Yeah, so I can show you off." he said and laughed. "Shut up." I said and I playfully hit his arm. And at that moment, he leaned in and ever so gentley he pressed his lips againsnt mine. It felt amazing. I even lifted my foot off the ground. Just like it the movies. I felt the spark and connection when he touched me. When we pulled away he looked at me and saw me smiling which showed him that I was ok he kissed me and that he wasn't moving on too fast. "So why don't we go show my mom now." he said as he grabbed my hand and we started walking out the door. I laughed and said"Yeah, let's go."

We found his mom in the kitchen and she said"Hey guys, you two are looking happy. What's up?" "Hey mom, um we kinda have to ask you something." Joe said. "Ok, honey what is it." she said. So I told her the whole story. She looked so worried and when I stood up Joe lifted up my shirt and she brought her hand to her mouth. "Oh, sweetie! Are you ok?" she asked. "Yeah I'm fine really. I just didn't know what to do about this and someone was freaking out about it. "I said and gestured toward Joe. "You probably should ice it for a week. If it doesn't get better then we will take you to a doctor."she said "Ok, thanks." I said. "Anytime." she said and Joe and I walked out of the kitchen hand in hand. "I told you I would be fine." I said to him. "I know, I know, but I needed to make sure." he said and he squeezed my hand tighter almost as if he was still afraid. "So you wanna tell me what's really bugging you?" I asked. "You can read me like a book." he said "Yeah, I can so tell me what's wrong. I'm not gonna let you get away with this." I said "Ok, well while you were gone Nick, Kevin,Frankie and I had our yearly check up at the doctor's."He said. "Ok." I said wondering where he was going with this. "And apparently Frankie might have cancer." he said and I could see how torn up he looked about this. "Oh my gosh, Joe! Why didn't you tell me right away. How much longer does he have to live?" I asked getting tears in my eyes. "We don't know babe. He doesn't know he has it yet becasue the doctors aren't quite sure what is wrong with him. So we are just trying to help him live life to its fullest and make him as comfortable as we can." he said and by now we were sitting on a bench outside. This made me cry and I could tell Joe was choked up too. I leaned my head on his chest and wrapped my arms around him. I loved Frankie, this wasn't going to be easy. Just when I thought everything was good again something had to happen.

omg i lovedd that chapter, "great Joe. You are really acting like a man. You had to get all personal." i loveee that part. i started cracking up. and at the end it was soo sad. i didn't see that one comingg. it was a real shocker. good job. i'm excited for the next one.
