Gianyar's Night Market 峇厘夜市场

A visit to the bustling night market (pasar malam) of Gianyar, Bali, is a richly rewarding experience. The sights, sounds and smells of this traditional market place are entirely local. No touristy elements here. Both sides of the streets are lined with colourful food stalls selling all manners of local favourites such as babi guling, chicken rice, sate (satay), soto ayam, banana fritters, shaved ice dessert, etc. Footwear, clothing, household linen, sunglasses, toys and many things else can also be bought here.
