i have a 2008 ford focus SE Coupe. it is quick, automatic which makes it a little boring to drive at times. but it does 0-60 in 8 seconds. will be adding a flowmaster exhaust kit and K&N Intake this summer.
ive been able to lead and chase BMW's and Nissan's well on the highway.
it performs well after it gets going, off the line is meh. It's all about how you drive it.

who ever says this car is slow needs to get rid of the auto and get a manual gear box because my SES rips!!!!!

I have and drive this car every day. Its not slow by any means. 8.3 seconds is not slow.

this doesn't even go 3500 rpm I got mine 08 up 4000 rpm

can't expect it to be fast. It gets 35 mpgs! if you want a fast car, stay away from FWD lol. I have a SVT Focus but don't use it for straight line at all lol

It's a good video but I gave it a 3 rating for calling it a shitbox. It's not supposed to be quick. It does an average 0-60 time. about 8.5 seconds. Quick it may not be, but far from a shitbox. Oh, and it's indeed a 4-speed automatic.

I had a focus for a few days but it was WAY too small for me - but any small car is.
It had the 2.0 it was a quick little car.
Since it is a ford automatic, the computer is programmed to redline at 3000-4000 (depending on model) in neutral to minimize damage when people do neutral bombs.

Haha yeah I hear ya I am 6'3 250 and this car is a wee bit small. It is considerably faster than a friends 01 Civic LX 4dr automatic with the 1.7L non-vtec. His car also has a limiter in P or N. But in drive WOT it does shift at the 6500rpm redline. Thanks for watching!
