fuckin shit quality.
-
HDR can work on ATI too. But you must use 3D Analyze
-
I think it will be work, but the perfomance will be less than 25 fps..
-
would HDR work on a nvidia geforce 6200?
-
hdr in farcry is ugly. too bright even on lowest.
u cant even see whats on computerscreens ingame because of the damn intense brightness from the hdr
-
hmm.., well, remember that far cry was never ment to have it in the first place. It can look very good if applied correctly. like it is often used in crysis. but it does get kinda wacky on far cry i must admit

Oh and backup your real "devmode.lua" before using the one from the mod.
You will also need to run Far Cry in developers mode (look up how to do this) and hit "F9" to toggle the tweaks.
-
Just so you know if you want to set the settings to toggled on your own with the method TenshihanQuinn mentioned, here are some good unsaved tweaks:
r_CoronaColorScale = "0.4"
e_shadow_maps_max_casters_per_
object = "2" e_shadow_maps_size_ratio = "390"
-
Some other settings that work AWESOME that do save are as follows (keep in mind these reduce performance on most systems):
r_HDRBrightOffset = "120.000000"
r_HDRBrightThreshold = "1.000000"
r_HDRLevel = "1.000000"
r_HDRRendering = "7"
r_CoronaSizeScale = "2.5" (*)
(* this setting is not optimal unless combined with a setting that doesn't save, see post with unsaved settings)
To make the HDR effects toggible, go to this folder: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry
Open your "game.cfg" with notepad and add these lines at the bottom:
Input:BindCommandToKey("\\r_HDRRendering 0","k",1);
Input:BindCommandToKey("\\r_HDRRendering 2","l",1);
Now save the file as READ-ONLY, and then while in game, you can hit "L" to activate HDR, and turn it off with "K".
