Atlas GP38 - CSX 2064. This unit is in the "YG" scheme basicly the gray scheme with yellow nose for better visability at grade crossings.
This has QSI in it, the sound is the correct EMD 645E non-turbo with transition. I custom wheathered it and changed some things to make it more prototypical.

  • Cool. How do you get the sound? Is it integral to the loco? We run EMD645Es here but we don't have the bells on our locos. I am wondering if I can get the sound without the bell?

  • the atlas GOLD SERIES has QSI sound in them. The bell only comes on when u press the button so for u ....just dont press the bell button lol

  • Atlas run so nice, good job on the track work

  • yes they do ...and thanx

  • ehh.. its a little to early and i wasnt a fan of the gray scheme but its ok..but i like the GP38

  • Nice looking, and sounding, loco. I have a 'stealth grey/yellow ends' loco planned at some stage for my layout, so good to see one running

  • Nice engine! YN1 was a great paint sceame

  • do you live in fla? if you do what hobby store you go to? i only went to hobbyworld in orange park and jacksonville, fl. if you dont go there what other hobby places do you go to? i want to go to as many hobby store as i can to find more train for my layout plans and etc. thanks =) i like that one but i love the blue colors of csx now=)

  • wow u have a great layout! 5*****

  • Nice but I would be trying to fix that hump you have between tables.

  • Another one in Chessie or Seaboard System paint would look great along with it. Although the loco consist would resemble the earlier CSX of the late 80's and early 90's.

I guess I'm kind fond of that era since my early railfanning days as a kid took place during that time (lol).

  • then u would love it up here where i live becasuse theres LOTS

  • It will Look great with MY GE AC6000,I could already imagine it running with it!.

  • Nice I really Like The Csx YG Scheme.atlas is the way to go with trains!.
