  • I just blew my own piston!

  • LOVE THE HEMI

AND FOR CHEVY AND FORD 010

  • @68bobba Yes they were making 8000hp, and yes I do own a 68 hemi charger, it has a 572 hemi and is putting out 800hp on pump gas at 10-1 compression.

  • @68chargerlover Even top fuelers of the 60s weren,t making 8,000hp....out of curiosity,do you own a 68 Charger?....I owned one from late 2006 until Nov last year.....check out "68 Charger backing out of garage"...thats my old car

  • @68bobba it's the torque that the driver worry about xD

  • i my self will keep to a 440 wedge. less fickle in the tune and eaiser parts to aquire from others.

  • ok all you guys thinking the hemi and top fuel are the only link. the prostock guys are hemi. and last year anyway they made more power than the others most of the time the dodges were top mph and et. this season may be different the others had set the record not the dodges the first race this year.

engine guys bitch about the hemi head for us normal people cause the dome piston can cause detenation and needs higher octane and more spark lead than a wedge head.

  • @68bobba They did at the drag strip, you notice I said dragstrip hence top fuel.To this day there are veriations of the hemi racing down the track

  • @68chargerlover The drag Hemis in the 60,s didn,t make 8000hp,and ran into the300mph range....I think your mixed up with the Top Fuel Hemis of today....Your right about the Hemi being detuned for the street....a race Hemi would have been too much for the average driver to handle

  • @TheDwortham The Hemi design was patented by Chrysler corp., so thechnically it is limited to Chrysler, so all hemi manufacturers have to buy the rights from Chrysler.
