I have the same engine in my piper cub. Great engine for the price and sounds much better than a screaming 2 stroke

Beautiful vid but it seems to me you are using a rc car breaking in method by applying throttle for two seconds and then idling. You should follow Magnum XL 0.61 RFS (thats actualy the same engine) instructions on how to break in the engine that by the way is done at full throttle.

All I can say is that the fuel consumption is comparable with my Irvine 46 2 stroke. With a 6oz tank fitted I taxi out to the runway and take off, fly around at between half and 3/4 throttle, my timer is set for 8 minutes which then leaves me with enough fuel to go around several times if need be and taxi back to the pits and still have a little fuel left in the tank. I hope this helps. The engine has bags of torque and pulling power and I would certainly buy one of these over a 2 stroke any day
