Part 100 - Through the Forest!

I think it's pretty self explanatory the way I show you.
Small flies gives you a path on the pods, but jumps out and disappears after a while.
Frogs gives a path and if you wait on it to jump out, it will launch you. Also, frogs do not disappear like the flies.

Typ00n or rather, Typhoon as I believe it should be, is a pretty strong summon with wind damage. FF6 Anyone?

Slash-All is a command materia that lets you attack everything on the field in 1 go. Not bad, but I prefer double-cut materia.
Also, leveling Slash-All MIGHT be bad because it turns into Flash on second level and then you have to turn it into master before you get a new Slash-All.
Flash insta-kills everything if it hits, but most strong enemies like bosses of course, it has no effect on and then you're helpless with no attack.

Apocalypse is incredible! 3x slots with Triple Ap gain is surely worthwhile getting.

Since I had time left, I put in some extra after the Forest.
Tetra Elementals are found from those cactuars on the hidden island south by morphing them.

Contain could be gained earlier in Mideel and I did mention it back then, but personally I don't find it all that great.

hey i just to know i just completed the ancient forest thanks to you

but i wanna know if i should go after sepiroth cause im level 70 but my hp is like under five thousand still should i keep powering up or is thatt fine to battle sepiroth?

right now i just like saved and quit the game b4 i went to sepiroth.

Sorry to tell you, but level 70 is total overkill, lol. You won't even have a challenge. I think normal level for an ok challenge is like level 40-45.

Ha, Cloud/Yuffie/Cid is my main group as well. Always has been, always will be. Although I do like to use vincent for a bit as soon as I get em. His early limit breaks come in handy in a big way, especially against RAPPS(I think that's the name of corneos pet boss in wutai?). His first level limit does great damage, especially considering you don't have any materia for that fight. It's a rough one if you don't got the levels.

@stevenhoog1 I play with battle speed maxed out all the time. If you're familiar with the battle system, and have played the game before, there is really no reason not to have battle speed maxed out. Makes things so much better in my opinion. And yeah, I tend to equip enemy away materia for this bit too, because usually when I'm here, I'm not concerned with levels that much since I'm well above where I'd need to be to finish the game :P. Hell, I'm playing now and I'm level 50 at the start of D2.

Haha @ at the idiot who couldn't get that weapon for vincent because he couldn't grasp the concept of WALKING, and not running after the trap had been set off once prior. Really not that hard... I love when people complain about something without realizing the reason it's not working is because they're dumber than a box of rocks.

@MikeLivingstoned Eh. I beat it several times. It was probably just due to unneeded grinding for chocobos and leveling up materia.

@Xandeth I can see it happening if you've beat the game enough times an never got stuck anywhere throughout the game i'm pretty sure i've been around that level by the time i got too Sephiroth on one of my other save files but i've made a new game not too long ago and im already a level 51 near the end of the 2nd disc and i bet i could go an mess him up right now i'm just getting everything in the game first haa.

use ENEMY AWAY materia to get through here WITHOUT all the frustrating battles. (this darn forest is frustrating enough) AND set battle speed to high to get what battles you do have , faster.

Thank you so much. I have been so frustrated especially when I don't know if I messed up or should keep trying harder to find I know not what, all the while getting pounded by battles and low on healing and ether items. This is the FIRST time EVER I've gotten through this forest and can't thank YOU enough for taking the time to post this. I really appreciate you. Perfectly handled, and thanks for editing out the battles.
