well there are many programs out there to teach you or maybe take music classes that are for composing .Im not sure what to tell you to take. the best thing I would try for is to learn how to write a score ,how to conduct it . pro tools can print out parts for players so it makes it easy for you

hey thanks for the info :) very helpful. unfortunately, i don't have a mac or a studio lol. i studied classically when i was young and self taught myself to write (nooby) movie music but i feel like i don't know anything when it comes to movie composing. don't suppose you know where i can do some research?
