And Jimi was a great friend of his? Maybe that had something to do with it? Also Duane and him used to tear up the UK? He lost a lot of great friends so maybe thats why he has the heart n soul you suggest

Saw Clapton and Steve Winwood preform this, awesome! I've seen Trucks too who is great, but has many years to get to let level of Clapton and Hendrix. Good video.

Great video..Allman brothers are great, but Eric can still walk on water as far as I'm concerned...the greatest.

I was blessed to be at the Beacon this night. The air was electric all evening, but particularly when Clapton walked out. I loved the way Eric & Warren sing together. The guitar playing was sublime, with three different sounds & styles. I'll carry the memory of this evening for a lifetime.

The Allman Brothers Band has always been one of my favofite groups, but together with my other Idol (beeing Eric) this is always something to look out to... It COMPLETLY has the same energy as the Layla recordings with brother Duane. Which, in itself, is a TOTAL compliment to this performance. Keep it on brothers! Especially Derek!

I have to give Clapton credit. He could of absolutely crushed the lead guitar efforts , but chose to hold back.

Grow up, dave. Guitarists aren't Kung Fu fighters (ps nobody tell Steve Vai that)

Yeah if there was a reason to dump a broad, that would be it. I don't care if she looked like Jessica Simpson, or Marge Simpson.
