As the car lights up, engulfing Paige and her parents with fiery flames, the Halliwell sisters stare on down the street, realising they're too late. Back at the Halliwell Manor, time has obviously passed and Leo enters the bedroom to find a crying Piper. This is the morning of the funeral. He takes her in his arms and comforts her, giving her enough strength to go through with the funeral. Phoebe is in her room, having just woken up, getting ready herself. Spotting Cole in the mirror, standing behind her, her fears of him being assassinated by the Source fade away. She is happy to know he is alive and they reunite, sharing a romantic kiss. Prue, however, isn't dealing with this in the best manner. Downstairs, she waits for her sisters to get ready. She remembers the story Paige told her about her adoptive parents death and Prue can not help but picture how Paige would have felt dying with them. Wondering how dying must feel. We then go to the funeral where Piper and Phoebe + all their friends are attending. Prue, evidentally, realises that if the Angel of Death had taken her life on the same day they met Paige, both her and her sisters wouldn't of had to go through with this, and Paige would have been alive. Death explains that if they had stopped trying to fight him, then yes, Prue would have gotten taken. This was what they were being warned about all along. Prue is scared for what will happen next but Death lets her down easy: this whole Fighting Fate is finally over. It died with Paige. Now, Prue mourns over her sisters death and the season comes to an end.
