Life for women in the military can be rough; simple luxuries easily slip away, "You still want to maintain while you're in the field. You shouldn't have to feel dirty," laughed CW3 Linda Lee, "like you can't cleanse your face whenever you'd like," the Third Infantry Division Soldier said. So, Lee wrote to Innovative Skincare, searching for a solution.

"It was the most unusual request we've had, yet also very exciting," said founder and COO Alec Call.

While in Iraq, Lee needed a cleanser that didn't require water, "Innovative Skincare if a supporter for Stars for Stripe and we very much believe in supporting our troops,"
said President and CEO Bryan Johns.

The men behind the skincare line said they were excited about their new challenge after hearing from Lee, "It was a new way we could give back to our men and women serving in the military," said Call.

Months of research led to the creation of Is Cream Cleanser. The botanical based cream also removes makeup and doesn't even need water.

The company presented Lee with the first tube off the production line and Glow Medspa and Beauty Boutique pampered her with a facial and makeover. "It's been a really, really great day for us and we are so honored to be able to pamper Linda and host a hero," said Courtney Buntin Victor, Owner of Glow Medspa. Another winnerof the day? Stars for Stripes.

Innovative Skincare presented the non-profit group of volunteers with a check for $5,000 as a 'thank you' for supporting the troops.

Volunteer Judy Seale has visited troops in Iraq 34 times and said, "Trust me, we live where they live and we don't whine. We're there for a week and just to think what they go through...anything we can do to make it easier for them while they're over there is wonderful," she said.

And sometimes...it's life's little luxuries that make a world of difference for a soldier.
