A short animation I did in Maya. Just to clarify, this is not the TP model that's been floating around on the internet. I made this from scratch in Maya. This is the second part of the interview, not really sure how many of these I'm going to do.

  • I love these! It's such a cute idea! I hate that your getting all this hate though. For as long as Zelda has been around people have there own idea of what Link should sound like, and some are even agiesnt him talking at all. I think its a cute idea and I would love to see more! And for those that say any character in zelda doesn't talk, try Wind waker, and Twilight Princess, and now Skyward Sword. And, in wind waker, link says "Come on!" When you have to move those statues.

  • @Daraplzmusic thanks for the support, I appreciate it. I'm not surprised at the haters though. There will always be stubborn people that can't accept change. (or take a joke for that matter)

  • dude ur amazing really, its so.. perfect, and it looks so.. cartoonish, in a good way!

The animations blew me away, they look almost motion captured... O_O

    Great job there!!

  • @TheOneGreatSaiyaman He does in these videos so deal with it and stop trolling.

  • @karlbauer47 even if it isn't the game, link doesn't talk

  • @TheOneGreatSaiyaman well, I don't know if you've noticed but....this isn't the game.

  • @karlbauer47 link never speaks once in this game, he just yells

  • zelda must be like fable, good and evil and with this voice it will be perfect

  • This is hilarious! Awesome work! =D

  • He's quiet because he's a "silent protagonist", a character who is silent so the player can fill in for themselves what he says. This allows the player to become more connected with the character. Other examples of this include Quote from Cave Story, Mario (well, sort of), the various main characters of the Pokemon series, and Sonic in his Genesis games.

    OVERANALYSIS COMPLETE.
