NEWS FLASH!! Jeff Petersen received 3 citations on 11/4, 2 for THEFT and 1 for driving with an expired license.
The other candidates had received permission at least 3 times to place their signs there from the store owner. This was at least the 2nd time that Petersen removed the signs and was caught. This was at least the 3rd time the signs were removed.
The store owner told police that he lets everyone place their signs there.

In Texas as most states you can't even get excepted into Police Officer Academy's if you don't have your own finances in order. Is Jeff Ex financially stable? Mentally Stable?
Doesn't seem so!
Financial stability should be the #1 priority when running for any public office...even if it is a Banana Republic like Montrose. If a person is financially unstable in his own life...how can he help run a small city such as Montrose Minnesota?

Give me a break!!! How can this be a set up he was caught red handed. This is 2008 most people have a cell phone with a video camera. This was done on highway 12 it doesn't take a genius to figure out someone would see him doing it.

What a set up. Why would someone put signs on both sides of a candidates signs so they can't be read? So they would pull them out. The store owner did not give permission to put them there!

The perpetrator got caught. The following Mayor Candidate questions why they caught the guy the 3rd time this happened. This was the 3rd TIME!

A local pastor was shocked to see the video but "However, I was more shocked to see that someone knew he would be there"
The was the 3rd times the signs were taken, 2+ times by Petersen.
