Libre Fighting Academy...
http://www.librefighting.blogspot.com/

Scott Babb (Head Instructor/Founder) Libre Fighting Academy and one of the Libre Council members demonstrating "the Over Pass" and it's variations. [I have permission from my buddy Scott to use Libre Fighting material].

Our knife training is unique, in that it is one of the few disciplines where the practitioner learns the art of attacking with the blade, rather than waiting to respond to a bladed attack.

We believe that waiting for an aggressor to actually take a slash at you in tantamount to waiting for someone with a gun to pull the trigger. If someone is threatening you with a blade, and is close enough to cut you, you should be attacking.

  • I've been a long time subscriber and you make awesome videos. I wanted to ask you about the comtech stingers and how much you get them for? I've seen them at the local army surplus store here in Southern California for about 8 bucks a piece. Amazon has them for 13 so I'm hoping the ones at the army surplus are the real deal. I just wanted to add them to my EDC, but as a poor college student working to pay for school, I'm trying to save money any way I can. Thank you for your time.

  • @rYOUokay ...thanks for the support Brother. Re: the Comtech Stingers what I get them for is not going to help you as I am a Dealer...I sell them for $10.00 like my Buddy Jeff at Alpha Innovations Self Defense. And I sell them to a select group only in Hawaii.

$8.00 is a great price...it should say "Combat Technologies Inc." on the Comtech Stinger II and it's made in USA.

  • @rYOUokay ...you could wait until my next contest and hope you get lucky. As Comtech Stingers are always part of the prizes. Next contest is when I hit 10,000 subscribers...I'm at about 9500 so maybe in about a month...JT

  • Are there DVD's of this training ??

    Have a good one.

  • @racerx32 ...there's also a 4th DVD coming out on straight-razor techniques.

  • Thank you for posting this. Which DVD is this from 2 or 3? I bought the 1st one about a year ago. Thanks again, John

  • @johnu78 ... This is an excerpt from the 2nd Street Edge DVD.

  • I've done very little edge weapons training (very little). But from what I can tell you...from doing some sparing. It never ever looks this clean. It's alot of stabbing and being stabbed at the sametime. Just like MMA...those guys know 3 or more hand to hand fighting disciplines...you'd expect something out of a Kung Fu movie...but it turns out to be more like two guys punching eachother on the ground. Not to say this isn't valid training. But expect to be shanked up if you go into a knife fight

  • she looks very... uncomfortable to say the least haha

  • she was killed about 23 times throughout the video

  • keep posting those vids, there r awesome!

  • nice

  • Please, dont murder me!

  • Pretty cool moves.... I hope I never have to deal with someone with a knife.

  • @clap5 Most knife fights consist of two totally ignorant/inexpierienced fighters, in which case you will have a whole lot of cuts and stabs on both ends. The point of training is to learn how to counter the inexpierienced fighters attacks. I study and train in Krav Maga a very good kill or be killed defensive/offensive style that is used by the Israeli Defense Forces, these guys in the video are using a couple methods taught in Krav Maga :) Take care!

  • looks bad ass, think i might pick me up a couple dvds, training blades, and find me a sparring partner. I know literally nothing on knife fighting except for, unless you want to die or get f***ed up you shouldn't....that is why my dad always told me "what do you call a person who brings a gun to a knife fight?" "THE WINNER!!!"
