I think its the lack of common sense in people that is probably annoying you. It happens to me also. The sad thing is you can't learn common sense from a book, so I guess those annoying people are screwed.

@biguy525 - yep, i am not saying i am the smartest bird in the flock, but - some things just make sense. when my boys help me with something, they are right there with the next tool - why, because they where watching me and learning, they knew the next thing i would need was a Phillips driver. common sense. stopped to fix a families flat tire a while back- none of them even knew where the spare was or what a jack is. Yep if the shit ever hit it the fan, god forbid, 90% would be toast.

nice project, looking foward to seeing the build...in 20 years when your sitting back in your rocking chair you'll be glad you made the effort to build this with your kids instead of just going out and buying a canoe... I'll be watching this space
