Mavis your voice is just as rich and powerful as it always have been. You will go down in history as one of the great voices of all times. I grew up listening to you and the Staple Singers as a child. You still sound so good and it brings back many memories of Uncloudy Day playing on the record player on Sunday mornings while mom made breakfast. Thanks very much.

Thanks to Mavis Staples for being Mavis Staples and thanks to Jeff Tweedy and all those involved for making sure that the beauty of Mavis Staples is still being presented in such an empathetic way. Easy to over produce. Not so easy to give the singer only as much as they require.
