Leupold quality control in Oregon factory need go back to school to learn how to check the thread of Alumina 4" sun shade , or they need to buy a Optical Comparator to see the lousy thread they have.

to awsner your question fonitrus leupold warned about these fakes on their website. they have the same name but not the same maker.

Pretty easy to tell the fake article, dont expect any Mark 4 new and delivered for £60, mine was well over £1200 from Premier Ret 10 years ago.

There are copies from china on the market as the other poster said.Recognised by their shitty workmanship and crappy optics.E bay is one place you can find them-if your not careful.If its seems cheap there is a reason.Dont buy chinese crap.

I've seen some really cheap mark 4 scopes on ebay and a friend told me they were made in china. Is the QA in your china factory the same as your Oregon factory?
if by any chance these are fake mark 4 scopes, how can a layman tell them apart?

The amount of work seen in this video is definitely representative of the quality of these scopes, I love mine.
