There once was a higher than average girls to boys ratio at UoN. Since then, the reputation that the girls outnumber the boys has grown year on year. I'm afraid or glad to confirm that this is just a rumour and that is all! Look out for Comfort Lettings when you do arrive, as ex students of the University we now provide some of the best accommodation for students in the area.

Definitely dig the video. I've just applied to Nottingham Uni as a transfer student. I'm wondering if you can speak to the nightlife and campus in general. I guess, something about the university experience. I go to Dickinson College in the states and its a real downer, the "student union" isn't really active at all, and theres almost nothing to do in the town. Cheers.

Hi... I was a student at Notts for about 5 yrs. So I'm VERY familiar with it's social life. It's the place to be if you want some fun student life and of course great insightful learning! Colourful Student Union with loads of events, socials and sports to suite whatever you like from beginner to expert. During the first couple of years I lived on Jubilee Campus and had a really wild Fresher's Week. Decent town, infested with about 40,000 students.

It's a cool university. I was there for about 4 years. It's "very" friendly to international students. A great mix of working hard and playing harder... All the best...

If you take the train, then it takes about 2.5 hours (meaning 2:30minutes), but if you take the coach/bus it may take about 3 to 3:30 hours, because of traffic. Hope u enjoy Nottingham
