I actually feel safer knowing there are so many ar-15's out there in the hands of people actually trained to use them

gas, to some extent. with AR's the shells are ejected right (with a righthand gun) AND forward.
but as shooters should have on safety glasses it's not an issue.

Why are there people with towels and blankets under their knees? I think a little discomfort will be the last thing on your mind when you have to use deadly force. Or just get some knee pads.
