Remote Robotic Dog Treat Dispenser via IM (MindStorms NXT)

Sela the dog gets a treat by someone IMing her the word "treat." The IM program parses the word "treat" and plays a sound that triggers the mic sensor on the Lego MindStorms NXT robot.

wouldn't IM make that noise to any IM sent to it, not just treat?

nope the IM program parses the word "treat" and only plays a sound for that

yeah it's a pain. in automation, look for "add..." button in bottom right corner, then "word matching," then check "generate event." other than that, you're on ur own.
