@highestsettings Alcohol depresses the central nervous system. In this way it acts as a pain killer by interfering with the senses, so of course drinking alcohol is going to lessen the pain.

@supasonicman Google it if you don't believe me. Over here in Britain we have something called the hair of a Dog to cure a hangover (no idea why it's called that) it's just having alcohol when you're hungover. It fixes it straight away. Explain that.

@highestsettings The hangover is caused by excessive alcohol consumption. It is a factor of dehydration, poisoning and other things. To suggest that the hangover is a withdrawal symptom would imply that the patient is already physiologically addicted after one dose.
