Saladin and Richard the Lionheart are two names that tend to dominate the Crusades. Both have gone down in Medieval history as great military leaders though their impact was limited to the Third Crusade.
@Webcrusader007@Webcrusader007 Just so you know, your definition of Muslim is false. Muslim means, someone who submits to the will of Allah (God). The will of God being the Quran. So no, Christians are not also Muslims.
Similarly, Christian comes from the word Christos shortened to Christ. Christos means a follower of Christ, i.e the Messiah or the anointed one. Since the Muslims also believe in Jesus, Messiah, the anointed one, Christ, etc, does it mean Muslims are Christians?
@Webcrusader007 ...You calling yourself Christian, is, according to you, an incomplete answer. The reason for this is not the 38,000 different Christian sections (according to wiki), but rather the fact that there are many Bibles, i.e KJV, NKJV, ESV RSV, etc.
Therefore, me calling myself a Muslim, is a complete answer, because you at-least know which book I follow, i.e the Quran.
@Webcrusader007 Mohammedan is an insult. The only reason you prefer this, is because it is an insult. It was used during the time Muslims had no power. Now it has been removed from modern day use. The correct term is Muslim. Shall I call you Jesesan?...
@t6658 this answer is not complete, when I say I'm a Christian the answer would be incomplete as well. Anyway I prefer to call you a follower of Mohammed: a Mohammedan.
In your definition of 'Muslim' anybody is a muslim when believing in the only God. So even Christians are Muslims then. You don't need to believe Mohammeds stories to be a Muslim.
