i downloaded this and my ps2 said my model was not compatible with the ps2 format software. So apparently u need to have an old ps3.

I dont have the slim either. I have the older style, but i mustve gotten it after sony changed from hardware to software. cock suckers

@4u250ut you are correct. its either a 60gig or early 80gig both ps2 compatible. both have chrome trim. the 80 gig uses half hardware and half emulation.

IF IT'S THE FIRST 80 GIG, IT CAME WITH PS2 SOFTWARE EMULATION OUT OF THE BOX. ALL PS3'S PLAY PS1 GAMES OUT OF THE BOX. THE PSN DOWNLOAD IS FOR PS2 GAMES THAT USED THE OLD PS2 HARD DRIVE ACCESSORY TO BE ABLE TO USE THE PS3 HARD DRIVE THE SAME WAY.
